The Russian Guy-Mzungu
The whole Nation is shocked right now. Everyone is blaming it on the women, and I’m here not in a position to blame them but blatantly condemn their behaviors. Russian guy or not Russian, this has been happening in the backstreets, in broad daylight where witnesses only saw but could not talk. What happened the other day was a show of what has been going on, not only with the female gender, but also the preying toxicity of some men.
Right now, men are throwing blows, they are the “rightful” judges now, same men who can't keep one woman, same men who want to hit on a girl the same day and call her in his house the same day and dump her the second day ,the same men who are always ready for sex every minute, the distance is always the yes of a woman, men who sleep with multiple women prestigiously, men who have been caught not once or twice on acts of cheating, men who've caused pain on women by leaving them with children to bring up. Soo men acting surprised, as if the Russian was not man is craze, as if these women were having sex with each other, as if a man was not involved it that saga. This matter cuts across men and women bc one is the prey the other one is the predator, just two people in the same flesh but different roles.
Now to the women, I don’t want to act as if I'm not disappointed in you. I know right now women are talking all over, in their hearts justifying all the women caught on camera by the Russian guy that these women were surviving. Really, is that what we have turned survival into ? We saw a woman drive herself there ,was she also surviving, we saw him getting women off their jobs, were they surviving too? Come on. I said I'm not in a position to blame them, because there is a literally thin line between reasons that led them to that man's house and reasons as to why they didn't hold back.
I'm not here to take sides, I'm here to call rotten, rotten. Perhaps you find your sister or mother in those videos, do you sit them down and tell her, mum,sis I understand it was survival. No, you tell her, you're still mother, my baby sis but what you did there was lame. Now here is why it's lame. As a girl, a guy, mzungu or not, cos both are guys meets you anywhere at your place of work and you're minding your business, he says hi, holds your hand, make you give him a 360, then asks you to go to his house. Now, are these not reasons enough to think about it? Why not tell him, “look okay, I'd want to know you more about you too, and I'm sorry I don't want to come into your place right now but I'm willing to meet you in a public space”. Because trust me, every woman who agreed to go to that man's house knew that she'd get laid, if not, it would have had something to revolve around it like making out.
Why it's hard for the trending women not to be in the radar is, let's say yes, let's assume the women honestly went to see him to know him more at his place. Then you arrive there and he's asking for more, and if yes you choose to give the more, why did they not mind if he was sleeping with them without protection ? I mean that would be a reason for the woman to say No at second chance.
What I see, is that it's not about the Yes or No the women would have said, but greater factors are at play here. One, the supremacy factor. These women saw it was a mzungu and all their lifetime of watching movies flashed before their eyes, these women saw supremacy in this mzungu, they saw the infinite, they did what women do better, to see the potential. They felt invincible to the requests of this man, they felt he was supreme to be in control of everything, their life, their jobs, their families and even their own standards shrank at his presence, their No's were not familiar with a white face, they only knew black faces. Their No's were not sure of whether they were making the right choice, so saying No to them was much riskier than a yes which felt much safer. Not safer for them, safer for him, it determined his judgment on the women and they couldn't fathom how a Russian mzungu would approach them, why them, why not other women around. What happened is no different with a woman from ushago giving in to the interests of a city guy because of the perception that he is a city guy, an all knowing guy, one who knows all she needs, all she wants and who she is.
The second thing, what happened showed us how women always choose risk over safety when it comes to men. Especially when something promising is at play, it shows how money the promising factor is the catalyst to the women's poor judgment. What's about money that some women have fallen prey out of their own consent. It has shown how women's perception is reduced to zero when a pleasing stimulus is applied. It shows how their life is dependent on something, something they feel is more worthy than them. And whether we like it or not what we are seeing is a deficiency of self worth. When there is no self worth, the standards and principle are always shaky, built on a stumbling foundation. Dignity is an outcome of an established self worth, a No doesn’t feel like a risk because she understand there's nothing she can loose which is greater to herself.
So, we need to stop being like little children throwing blames, men should stop throwing blows to women, all in all these are our sisters, mothers, aunts, it shouldn't give a man a right to strip them more just bc the women on the videos are not related to them. And again we should not run away from the root cause by throwing useless shenanigans like, men should stop recording without women's consent. Because now it makes one wonder consent is the main issue, or the nefarious things done to you as a woman. or which consent should be considered , that of you being recorded or that of you consenting to raw sex on day one from a total stranger not even from your continent. This is what we should ask, how do we protect our women from preys who disguise themselves angels, how do we make our society better, by restructuring to a society where both men and women are safe?
